Amazon Launches $150,000 Loudoun County Community Fund to Support Local Nonprofits

Loudoun County’s thriving business community continues to prove that growth and generosity go hand in hand. Through a new partnership between Amazon InCommunities and the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties, a $150,000 Loudoun County Community Fund has been established to provide grants of up to $10,000 to local nonprofit organizations.

The fund is designed to support programs that make Loudoun stronger and more resilient, with a focus on health and wellness, food security, homelessness prevention, sustainability and environment, and social cohesion. These are the same areas where community impact can make a lasting difference for families and neighborhoods across the county.

“This is a strong example of business leadership in our community,” said Buddy Rizer, Executive Director of Loudoun Economic Development. “Amazon’s investment highlights the importance of working together to support food access, housing stability, and health programs. When businesses step up, Loudoun becomes stronger for everyone.”

Applications for the Loudoun County Community Fund are now open to nonprofits through December 15, 2025, with award notifications expected in early February. A community reception celebrating grant recipients will be held in late February or early March.

The Loudoun County Community Fund reflects Amazon’s ongoing commitment to being an engaged corporate partner in the region where it operates major data center campuses. The collaboration with the Community Foundation ensures that funds are distributed where they will have the greatest local impact.
