Buddy Rizer Interviewed by Executive Leaders Radio

By: Lois Kirkpatrick

The Acting Director of the Loudoun County Department of Economic Development, Buddy Rizer, has achieved the distinction of being one of the few business leaders to have been interviewed by Executive Leaders Radio twice.

Executive Leaders Radio is broadcast in 11 states and in Washington, D.C., and is also available worldwide online and on iTunes. The show features interviews with CEOs, founders, executive directors and presidents of private companies, nonprofit organizations and public agencies.

“Over the last six years, we’ve managed to become the No. 1 business radio show between Princeton, N.J. and Northern Virginia,” Executive Leaders Radio founder Herb Cohen told the publication Keystone Edge.

During Rizer’s first interview, he reveals which superstar rock band he toured Europe with in a previous career. In his second interview, Rizer talks about the decision that led to his dramatic and unexpected career reinvention.

“I’ve been very lucky in my professional life, and I love that I had the chance to talk about my careers and my thoughts on leadership on Executive Leaders Radio,” Rizer says. “There’s so much more I hope to accomplish, but it’s always nice to take a look back and appreciate the journey.”

“I’m very passionate on the topic of leadership, and I enjoyed being part of this discussion.”
