- 2014 marks the 10th anniversary of the Signatures of Loudoun Design Excellence Awards. The Loudoun County Design Cabinet honored eight winners at a Loudoun Board of Supervisors meeting. For the first time, the cabinet also gave out a lifetime achievement award.
- Susan VanEpps, the DED staff liaison to the Design Cabinet, recently accepted a new position within the department, as Rural Business Development Manager – Marketing. Among her new responsibilities are facilitating a new logo design for Loudoun Farms and coordinating the Fall Farm Tour.
- iNNOVATE LoCo winners SafeLife and GOPOP.tv are just two of the companies making Leesburg a new Northern Virginia app hub.
- VOA-China visited Loudoun recently to do a report on the county’s success. they visited Breaux Vineyards, RagingWire and interviewed DED Director Buddy Rizer.
