Loudoun Economic Development to Host “Work in Loudoun” Job Fair on July 24
LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — As part of their Loudoun Resilience Initiative, Loudoun Economic Development is proud to present the Work in Loudoun Job Fair, taking place on Thursday, July 24, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Westfields Marriott in Chantilly, Virginia. The event is co-located with the National HUBZone Conference, creating a powerful opportunity to connect federal and government contract workers, HUBZone residents, and jobseekers from across the region with hiring employers in Loudoun County.
The job fair is free to attend and open to all jobseekers. Loudoun employers will be on-site with active openings across multiple sectors, including technology, government contracting, skilled trades, and more. Displaced federal employees, contractors affected by program shifts, and residents living in Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZones) are especially encouraged to attend.
“This is a critical moment to support workers and businesses in transition,” said Buddy Rizer, Executive Director of Loudoun Economic Development. “The Work in Loudoun Job Fair will help displaced federal and contract workers, along with local and regional talent, find their next opportunity right here in Loudoun. At the same time, it gives our businesses direct access to highly skilled professionals who are ready to contribute on day one.”
The event’s strategic alignment with the HUBZone National Conference creates additional value for HUBZone-certified companies and residents.
Kindra Dionne, Chief Program Officer for the HUBZone National Council, added: “We’re proud to co-locate the HUBZone Conference with this workforce opportunity. HUBZone residents are an essential part of a thriving federal contracting ecosystem. By partnering with Loudoun Economic Development, we’re helping businesses grow while creating equitable pathways to employment.”
