Inc. 5000 in Loudoun: Abich Financial

Each year, Inc. 5000 recognizes the fastest-growing private companies in the United States, highlighting businesses that are driving innovation, creating jobs, and shaping the future of their industries. Loudoun County continues to stand out on this national stage, with a growing number of local companies earning a place on the list. The following story is part of a series celebrating these honorees and the impact they are making both locally and beyond.
For most business owners, making the Inc. 5000 list once is a career-defining achievement. For Abe Abich and his team at Abich Financial, doing it four years in a row (2022–2025) speaks volumes of a 17-year journey rooted in humility, specialized expertise, and a need to help others.
Founded in December 2008, Abich Financial was born from Abe’s personal conviction to help families achieve the financial security that his family did not have growing up. The journey to entrepreneurship was brief, having achieved it at only 23, but after working in the finance industry for just six months, he realized small business ownership was his calling.

While the firm has called Loudoun County home since 2015, the recent four-year growth spurt was sparked by a strategic decision to offer a holistic service that integrates both investment and insurance products, enabling them to provide a higher level of service for their clients, namely those near the point of retirement.
When the national rankings were first announced, Abe’s message to his team was a humble “congratulations and great teamwork,” reinforcing selflessness, while also celebrating the win. For Abe, the award provides credibility and clout, but he insists on maintaining humility. “We try not to let any award or ranking make more of it than what it is,” he notes. “Humility is key.”
Looking back at the decisions of the last few years, Abe points directly to his team. The firm didn’t reach 10 employees until 2022 but today, they have a staff of 31. He credits Abich Financial’s success with company culture. “One of our core values is Pursuit of Excellence Through Humility and Hard Work,” he emphasizes. “Our team members are willing to put the team first. We have to stay focused on the mission.”
By pouring everything back into the business and focusing on a vibrant company culture, Abich Financial has turned fast growth into a source of employee pride. “The team is really proud of what we have been able to do together,” Abe notes. “Growth is what people want to be part of. It is fun and exciting and creates opportunities for them to grow, too.”
Success has also allowed the firm to deepen its community footprint. Volunteer days with Loudoun Habitat for Humanity and a summer internship program with students from NOVA and George Mason University are just a handful of ways the firm works to give back.
While the Inc. 5000 measures past growth, Abe has a pulse on the future. Influenced by his involvement with C12 (a Christian business CEO forum) and his faith-filled upbringing, his goal is to continue helping people retire with dignity. And for the fellow Loudoun entrepreneur wondering if they have what it takes to get to the point where they can make the list, Abe offers a singular piece of advice, “Think ten times bigger than you are now. By expanding your mind and believing in your mission, I believe any business can reach more people and make a lasting impact.”
