Supervisors to Visit Companies During Small Business Week

Supervisors Letourneau and Volpe visit Dulles Case Center in 2013

Loudoun Small Business Week is right around the corner, and we’re gearing up for five days that will be jam-packed full of activity. In addition to a variety of events that are open to the public and geared toward small business owners, Loudoun County Economic Development and the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors will also be recognizing select Loudoun small businesses individually.

A cross-section of companies is chosen every year to showcase the entrepreneurs that make Loudoun thrive as a place where small businesses can achieve success. In fact, over 80 percent of Loudoun’s businesses have fewer than 20 employees, a statistic that has not gone unnoticed by Loudoun’s Board of Supervisors. Chairman Scott York says, “Small businesses are Loudoun’s economic engine, and the Board wants them to know that we appreciate them starting and growing their businesses here in our county.”

This year’s companies include Internet companies, marketers, tech firms and breweries, highlighting the wide array of industries that call Loudoun home. The full list of businesses being recognized is below:
