The Washington Redskins and Loudoun County – DED in the News

There was a lot of Redskins news this week in Loudoun County. On Monday, April 21, County staff and Washington Redskins representatives made a presentation to the Loudoun County Economic Development Committee about the county’s marketing deal with the NFL team. The next day, Redskins owner Dan Snyder, along with Loudoun Board of Supervisors Chairman Scott York and Loudoun County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Edgar Hatrick, attended a press conference at Park View High School in Sterling. At the event, Snyder presented the school with a $100,000 check to go toward building an artificial turf sports field. The donation was part of a larger program with the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation: Redskins, County Celebrate Park View Field Grant.
