Cut Flower Pests & Diseases

Join Future Harvest at Far Bungalow Farm for a farm tour and discussion of pest and disease management of cut flowers. Far Bungalow Farm, owned and operated by Sage Devlin, is located on the historic Rocklands Farm in Leesburg, Virginia. With parts of their production site affectionately referred to as a “bog,” Sage has a variety of strategies for managing fungus and bacteria, including building soil health and using strategic organic sprays and drenched. We’ll begin the day with lunch and a demonstration of how to mix your own treatments and preventatives, talk about some pest management strategies, and take a walk throughout the fields to view the farm in action.
