Funding Your Next Stage: Finding the Right Capital for Business Growth
Growth creates choices. You may need working capital to take on a new contract, to purchase new equipment or a new location, or to acquire a business, or simply a better understanding of what funding options are available before deciding whether to take on debt or equity at all.
Join Launch Loudoun and the Virginia CDFI Coalition for a practical conversation about how growing businesses can think through those decisions.
CDFI lenders serving Loudoun and Northern Virginia will discuss where flexible, mission-driven financing can be useful, when borrowing may, or may not, make sense, what partners look for, and how businesses can navigate the broader capital landscape without defaulting to the wrong source of funding.
We’ll use real-world growth scenarios to explore questions such as:
- Should I finance this growth or fund it another way?
- When does debt or equity make sense, and when doesn’t it?
- What should I know before applying for financing?
- What options exist when a conventional bank product is not the right fit?
- How do I avoid using expensive or poorly matched capital simply because it is available?
The session is designed for growing Loudoun businesses, as well as economic development professionals, banks, funders, business advisers and others helping companies navigate growth.
