Katrina L. Young leads Entrepreneurial Engagement for NASA’s Technology Transfer Program at NASA’s Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA, helping founders, entrepreneurs, startups, small business leaders, and others to identify and license NASA‑developed technologies that can be turned into new products and ventures.

She works closely with incubators, accelerators, and community innovation networks to unlock licensing pathways, drive commercialization, and spark high‑impact collaborations. Katrina also engages entrepreneurially minded students and faculty across academic disciplines—supporting them as they translate their research and bold ideas into real‑world solutions. Her energetic, ecosystem‑building approach helps to empower innovators as they differentiate, scale, and thrive in technology‑focused areas.
