14 Loudoun Companies Make Fastest-Growth List
Fourteen Loudoun County firms are on Inc. magazine’s 2013 list of the 5,000 fastest-growing companies in the nation. More than $215 million in annual revenue was reported by the Loudoun companies on the list.
I.T. consulting company iQuasar, at number 276, is the highest-ranked Loudoun firm, with 1,568 percent growth. Other Loudoun companies in the top 500 include Knight Solutions, FCi Federal, StrongBridge, PNL and Paramount Business Jets.
“On behalf of the Board of Supervisors, I’d like to congratulate all of the Loudoun companies on the Inc. list,” said Chairman Scott K. York. “The growth shown by these companies is something that all of Loudoun can be proud of.”
“With a workforce that is among the best in the nation, and an outstanding climate for business, Loudoun County is a great place to start and grow a company,” added Dulles District Supervisor Matt Letourneau, chairman of the Board’s Economic Development Committee. “The Board is committed to continuing our positive momentum during the remainder of 2013 and beyond.”
Buddy Rizer is the acting director of the Loudoun County Department of Economic Development. He noted, “Six of the 14 Loudoun companies on Inc.’s list are in the government services sector, three are in I.T., one is in cyber-security and another is in telecommunications. These thriving businesses show that companies in these sectors find Loudoun to be an ideal business location. Any company that could benefit from proximity to the same markets, or to allied organizations, should contact us to discuss the opportunities Loudoun would offer them.”
