Call for Speakers: 2020 Loudoun Small Business Conference
Loudoun Economic Development and the Mason Enterprise Center Loudoun are seeking dynamic speakers for the Loudoun Small Business Conference on May 4, 2020.
Now in its fourth year, this one-day conference will feature a keynote speaker, breakout sessions for detailed discussion, short Ted Talk-style success stories, and hands-on workshop opportunities. The ideal speaker will bring contagious energy, experience with entrepreneurship or small business, and transferable knowledge to the business community.
“Loudoun’s annual Small Business Conference is the region’s premier summit for entrepreneurial resources and networking,” Loudoun’s Economic Development Executive Director Buddy Rizer said. “Together with the Mason Enterprise Center Loudoun, we’re building out content that will help businesses Level Up, which is the theme of this year’s conference.”
Previous conference speakers have provided inspirational success stories, insight into technical processes, strategies to overcome challenges and community resources that they leveraged to grow.
Mason Enterprise Center Loudoun’s Regional Director Susan Henson said: “With education being a primary focus for us, we are proud to have grown the Loudoun Small Business Conference for the last three years into an inspiring educational event where small businesses learn actionable strategies and techniques from content experts and successful entrepreneurs, that can help them reach the next level.
“For 2020 we are excited to build on that momentum by co-producing the event with Loudoun Economic Development team.”
The public is invited to nominate themselves or other speakers. Nominations must be received by close of business on December 13, 2019.
Please submit your nominations in the form below, or online at biz.loudoun.gov/smallbiz/sbw-proposals/.
The conference speaker selection committee will be in contact with all nominees by late December to learn more about your presentation proposal and to discuss how you can contribute to the conference.
