Loudoun Design Cabinet Kicks Off 2013 Awards Program
The Loudoun County Design Cabinet is now accepting nominations for the ninth annual Signatures of Loudoun Design Excellence Awards. Nominations are encouraged from the public, as well project owners, developers and architects. The deadline for entry is Friday, March 1.
“This award program recognizes that Loudoun’s exceptional built environment has been enhanced by quality design. The Signatures of Loudoun program honors these design efforts in projects countywide, regardless of their size or cost,” said Design Cabinet Chair Alan Hansen, AIA, LEED AP.
The 2013 award categories now include a revised “Interiors” description, recognizing exceptional interior space for all commercial and residential types. Details on each of the categories, as well as previous winners, are available on the Loudoun Economic Development website.
Entry forms, rules and the award criteria may be downloaded from the Loudoun Economic Development website. For more details, please contact Susan VanEpps.
The Loudoun County Design Cabinet is an award-winning volunteer group of professional architects, planners and engineers sponsored by Loudoun County Economic Development. The Signatures of Loudoun awards will be presented in a public Board of Supervisors meeting this spring.
