Loudoun Welcomes Parcel Delivery Express to New Dulles Location
The Loudoun County Department of Economic Development announces that Parcel Delivery Express has moved into their newest distribution center, near Washington-Dulles International Airport. The Hanover, MD-based company now occupies more than 26,000 square feet of flex industrial space in the Prologis Loudoun Gateway Logistics Park at 45065 Old Ox Road.
“I’m pleased to welcome PDX to Loudoun County,” said Supervisor Matt Letourneau (Dulles), chairman of the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors Economic Development Committee. “PDX will be bringing 13 full-time employees plus contractors to Loudoun. The company is the latest to take advantage of our proximity to Dulles Airport, the international gateway to the Washington region.”
“This is an exciting step in our growth,” says PDX Co-Owner Gerry Schoenen. “Dulles is a strategic local and regional logistics location — within overnight delivery range of 25 states, reaching 56 percent of the USA population — for serving our customers better and for growing our business.”
Jim Herbert is the Loudoun County Business Development Officer who worked with Prologis, the commercial real estate development company, to bring PDX to their new location.
“This is an excellent case of a forward-thinking developer attracting a forward-thinking tenant to Loudoun, who together will grow their businesses while expanding Loudoun’s important logistics capacity,” Herbert said.
