The Loudoun County Department of Economic Development is pleased to announce that on Thursday, April 25 at 11:30 a.m., Buckeye Development will break ground on a three-story, 54,000 square-foot Class-A office building at 19490 Sandridge Way, located near the intersection of Lansdowne Boulevard and Riverside Parkway.

“I’m excited by the growing number of speculative construction projects in the county,” says the Chairman of the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors, Scott York. “Speculative projects like this one speak volumes about the community’s confidence in the Loudoun business climate.”

Ashburn District Supervisor Ralph Buona notes that Riverside Office Park is located near Lansdowne Resort, Loudoun Inova Hospital, Howard Hughes Medical Institute and the future One Loudoun World Trade Center. “This new building will be situated on an elevation, and occupants will be able to see for 10 miles from the top floor. This is one of the most desirable office locations in the Lansdowne area.”

This professional office condominium is the second of four buildings planned for the site. They will all be energy-efficient offices with a low core factor.

“This project is a great opportunity for at-place employment,” says Phil Canada, president of Lansdowne Real Estate Company, which is the broker for the project. “Office suites are available for sale or lease, and range in size from 1,200 square feet to 16,000 square feet per floor. Turnkey delivery of units will start in late 2013, with space plans and finishes customized to occupants’ specifications.”

Assistant Director of Economic Development Buddy Rizer explains, “Riverside Office Park is an example of the diversity of built inventory in Loudoun County. We have more than 17 million square feet of office space, more than 14 million of industrial, more than 13 million flex, and about two million of mixed-use. This diversity of product means Loudoun County has a strong economic base.”

Business owners and commercial real estate developers, brokers and site selectors can search an online database of Loudoun buildings for lease or sale, as well as an available land database, on the Loudoun County Department of Economic Development’s website.
