Ms. Ortiz-McGhee is the Chief Operating Officer of the National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC), the trade association and largest network of diverse-owned alternative investment firms. NAIC has 190+ members that represent more than $406 billion in aggregate assets under management. Prior to NAIC, Ms. Ortiz-McGhee served as Senior Vice President at Aon plc. In this role, she was responsible for driving growth across all risk and health product lines in the Mid-Atlantic and was recognized as one of Business Insurance magazine’s Top 25 Women to Watch. A Northern Virginia native, Ms. Ortiz-McGhee grew up in Fairfax, and is a proud graduate of the University of Virginia. She serves on the UVA Alumni Association Board of Managers, as Chair of the Governance & Nominating Committee for Communities In Schools’ national board of directors, is a member of the MBA Fund I Investment Committee as well as a member of the Hispanics in Philanthropy Inicio Ventures Advisory Cabinet.
