Jaison Carter
Jaison Carter is a Business Development Manager with over 8 years of experience in building relationships, meeting client needs, and engaging with the government and private sectors. Currently, he supports the expansion or relocation of international companies in Loudoun County, VA, where he’s responsible for fostering business partnerships, securing investments, and expanding the county’s economic footprint with a specific eye on companies based in Europe.
Jaison has an extensive background in Europe with grandparents hailing from Bremen, Germany and Paris, France, countries he visited often growing up. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Affairs from the George Washington University in 2011 where much of his studies focused on the political and economic history of the European continent. As part of his studies, Jaison participated in a study abroad program based out of Freiburg, Germany which was focused on the European Union. He also served as an intern with what was then the United Kingdom Trade & Investment Team at the British Embassy in Washington, D.C.
Much of Jaison’s career has centered around supporting public service. In his role as a Management Consultant for companies like Arc Aspicio, Grant Thornton, and Guidehouse, Jaison supported clients across the federal government in a variety of different mission areas. His work focused on building trust and understanding the needs of his clients and partners to help get them the information and tools they needed to best accomplish their goals. Now with Loudoun County, he looks to build on that experience to the benefit of the local population and potential international partners looking to expand and thrive.
Jaison is passionate about engaging with other cultures and finding common ground with those coming from different backgrounds. The only thing that brings him more joy is talking about his wife or the twin boys they welcomed in 2025.
