Michael Contino serves as the Market Intelligence Manger for the department, where his focus is utilizing data to inform business recruitment and retention strategies that drive economic growth and diversification.
As part of the Strategic Initiatives team, he directly helps shape policymaking, economic strategies, and investment decisions, helping Loudoun County maintain its competitive edge in a fast-evolving economic landscape.
Michael has a B.S. in Sport and Recreation Management, with a minor in Business from James Madison University. He previously worked with the Washington Commanders and Phoenix Suns professional sports organizations, where he helped optimize their CRM systems, streamlining processes and delivering data-driven insights.
Outside of work, he enjoys watching sports, hiking, video games, and playing in recreational sports leagues including flag football, basketball, and kickball.
