Committed to Loudoun’s economy

Created in 1995 by the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors, the Economic Development Commission was a public/private partnership responsible for promoting economic development in the county. In 2013, supervisors voted to change the name of the EDC to the Loudoun County Economic Development Advisory Commission.

Membership encompasses a broad range of industries, including aerospace, agribusiness, banking and finance, higher education, technology, real estate development, small business and telecommunications.

As an advisory group, the commission provides valuable business intelligence to the board and the Department of Economic Development. The views it expresses are its own. To contact EDAC, email edac@loudoun.gov.
